Senior Procurement Manager (EPC/Power) #AKT

• Source and purchase goods, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets
• Categories of purchase include EPC, construction and associated OEM components.
• Manage contracts, payment claims, variation orders and contract disputes during project execution.
• Following and enforcing procurement policies and procedures, support the functions and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations
• Act as an interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders on procurement processes for new projects and activities
• Monitor and advise on any issues which present risk or opportunity to the organization
• Monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers
• Provide analysis on costs for new and existing suppliers, and review cost reduction activities
• Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers
• Review opportunities to create business savings via negotiation and procurement best practices
• Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships on behalf of the organisation
• Prepare cost analyses, and reports

• Degree in Engineering / Business
• At least 8 years of experience in Procurement
• Experience in negotiating of vendor contracts including EPC contracts, supply agreements and long term service agreements
