Finance Manager, Financial Reporting #AJT

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for managing the Financial Reporting (including R2R and Statutory Reporting), Cash Management & Treasury (including P2P, O2C) and Governance workstream

• Create a plan to deliver and review financial policies, guidelines, and protocols to ensure the company complies with regulations and good financial practice.
• Develop and deliver a plan for significant aspects of the financial management and/or control process.
• Record to Report (R2R) to be able to plan, execute and monitor in accordance to R2R KPIs
• Act as the ledger owner of Singapore entities
• Responsible and to ensure reporting of Financial Statements in accordance to the company’s Accounting Manual
• Responsible and to ensure timely statutory reporting, fair representation and filing of Financial Statements in accordance to local GAAP
• Manage treasury matters, financing, dividends repatriation and partnership with Global Treasury
• Drive sustainable and enforceable policies and controls
• Responsible for business partnering engagements with terminals or functions to optimize cash positions, overall control and governance responsibilities
• Lead and develop regular business partnering review and operating rhythm with terminals and functions
• Co-lead Finance Transformation project in preserving and creating value through continuous improvement in processes, increase utilization of systems or technology and development of high performance team
• Train, coach and guide the team members in operational efficiency
• Responsible for developing direct reports and supporting overall talent development effort in Finance team
• Manage and develop people to ensure a cohesive and motivated team

Job Requirements

• Good interpersonal, people management and business partnering skills
• Stakeholder relationship and management skills
• Demonstrate continuous improvement mindset
• Well versed in excel, power point, visualization tools
• System knowledge in OCS, Tagetik and Qliksense
• At least 8 years in financial accounting experience and leading a team
• Degree in or professional qualification in Accountancy
• Member of ISCA is preferred
